Job Requirements
Minimum & Additional Requirements
-Two-Year College Degree; one year of experience at the level of Recreation Leader III; or any equivalent combination of experience and training
which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Possession of valid Red Cross Lifeguarding and Swimming Pool Operator's
certificate, or equivalent certification. Two years of swimming pool operation experience; the ability to perform routine maintenance/repair work on
pool equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
-Four-year College Degree with completion of college-level courses in recreation, physical education, or fine arts; three years of progressively
responsible experience in aquatics, including some experience at the level of Recreation Leader III or equivalent; or any equivalent combination of
experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
-More than 3 years of aquatics experience, including hands on experience producing aquatics programs. Experience in scheduling and
coordinating aquatic staffing and programs; ability to provide working leadership to part-time staff and to volunteers. Customer focused and proven
ability to work successfully with others.
