Simple Technology Solutions is looking for a Senior Collibra Developer to add to our team.

Quick Position Overview:

The role:

In this role the candidate will be involved in our customer's data management modernization effort. As part of the team, you will be expected to support and advance business intelligence and advanced analytics, interface with customers, other team members and vendors. This position is designed for someone who has subject matter expert level Collibra experience and wants to focus on modeling, machine learning research, and analytical automation efforts, within a fast-paced, leading technology services provider.

The Senior Collibra Developer at STS will:

  • Work with a Extensive knowledge of cloud services, methodologies, best practices, and tools
  • Knowledge of at least one other programming language (such as  Node.js , Scala,
    Python, or Golang, etc)
  • Integration of Collibra with other integration tools like Apache atlas, DBT, Erwin.
  • Experience creating connections between Collibra and Snowflake, Databricks and Hive
  • Groovy scripting/BPM for workflows
  • Metadata/lineage connectors across applications
  • API Integration
  • Manage job server
  • HTML coding for Dashboard
  • DGC Console
  • Configuring Collibra per business requirements
  • Inventory critical metadata in Collibra
  • Work cross functionally for requirements, Integrations and processes
  • Participate in meetings and working sessions
  • Working experience in data governance, metadata management and data catalog solutions, specifically on Collibra tools
 
Job Requirements
**Required**

• Bachelor’s Degree
• A minimum of 10 years' position related experience
• Collibra Certification
• Collibra Integration experience
• Experience creating different BPMN workflows based on the business need and facilitating data management goals
• Experience creating various Asset types: Business Assets, Technology Assets, Data Assets and Governance Assets
• Experience in Data Governance of wide variety of data types (structured, semi-structured and unstructured data) and wide variety of data sources
• Experience designing Collibra as a data governance platform
• Knowledge of Collibra operating model, workflow, and how to integrate various applications or systems with Collibra
• Experience in setting up people’s roles, responsibilities and controls, data ownership, workflows and common processes
• Experience in CSV, JSON, XML and logs files
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
