ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Ability to perform general cleanup duties and construction jobsite maintenance as assigned.
Basic ability to maintain safety and cleanliness throughout assigned area(s).
Ability to interact and communicate professionally and ethically with all parties associated with the project.
Timely completion of assigned duties on the project to include but not be limited to loading/unloading materials, cleaning buildings, removing trash, keeping site clean, washing trucks, sweeping, running water pumps, cleaning out footings, using various hand tools (shovel, rake, hammer, broom, post hole digger, picks, etc.).
Follow safety policies and procedures and inform the supervisor of any safety violations on the project.
Maintain professionalism and integrity in all contacts and communications.
Produce the highest quality work.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma.
Familiar with construction sites and some exposure to job-related duties.
Basic organization and communication skills.
Basic ability to follow multi-step instructions.
Basic ability to utilize hand tools and other construction-related equipment.
Personal transportation to travel between job sites as assigned.
A successful candidate must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
PHYSICAL JOB DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, drive, kneel, stoop, reach, bend, climb; touch and grasp, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, depth and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to personally visit and inspect assigned projects to attend project-related meetings, job reviews, understand the status and quality of construction, and meet with field personnel to discuss performance and provide mentoring and coaching. The noise level in the work environment, particularly when in the field, can vary significantly and at times be very loud.
