The Jr. Installer assists the RNC Installer to install tubing and outdoor units in residential, industrial, and commercial buildings.

•Assist with installing new refrigeration tubing and outdoor units
•Ensure lines, components, and connections are free of leaks and defects
•Verify that lines, components and connections are installed per code per manufacturer requirements
•Follow the instructions of the RNC Installer
•Transport needed tools and equipment to jobsite
•Clean work area, machines, tools, and supplies
•Follow company and industry safety guidelines and regulations
•Perform other related duties as assigned
•Ability to understand the installation and repair of various tubing systems and outdoor units
•Read and comprehend instructions, communicate via short correspondence, and memos
•Ability to follow instructions, skilled craftsmanship, quick learner
•Ability to handle sharp objects
•Strong ability to remain organized and meet deadlines
•Ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and ethics when dealing with vendors, co-workers, and customers
•Good English communication skills (verbal and writing) and ability to write simple correspondence
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
This job operates in a field setting. This role routinely uses standard tools such as drills, torches, generators, saws, and ladders.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While conducting field work, there may be exposure to different climates (hot, humid, cold, drafty), noises and confined spaces. In this job you must be able to walk, stoop, bend, or crawl to install equipment, and lift equipment up to 100 pounds at times. Prolonged periods of standing, bending, or climbing ladders might occur.
Position Type & Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 pm, based on the employee’s schedule. Must be available to work at minimum 40 hours a week. Working overtime and on weekends can be frequently required.
Daily travel is required to the job site.

•Valid driver’s license
•Good driving record
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
•Able to pass DOT physical
