Pink Space Theory offers Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) programming to inspire and build STEAM skills for the next generation. Pink Space Theory was created to help close the gender and race equity and equality gaps in the STEAM community. Pink Space Theory aims to engage, expose, and empower youth, especially girls, with STEAM learning experiences to prepare them for their future career paths and passions.
Pink Space Theory energizes students through problem-based hands-on activities that stimulate critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity in the Washington DC Metro area.

Do you have a passion for coding and computer science/engineering? Do you want to inspire and teach the next generation?
Pink Space Theory is looking for energetic coding instructors to teach coding to elementary and middle school students using the Sphero Bolt. The individual (s) will work 3 - 8 hours a month teaching block and text coding to students.
Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and prepare for inquiry-based, hands-on, and engaging coding lessons, integrating other subjects as required.
Teach after school coding programs at designated locations in Prince William County, Virginia.
Maintain a safe, healthy, supportive, and collaborative learning environment for students.
Align activities with student interests and allow for flexibility in content week to week.
Evaluate coding program activities and measure outcomes.
