The Program Manager shall work directly with the Government COR, and shall direct and supervise all work performed under the contract. The Program Manager shall be exclusively devoted to performing work under this contract and shall have managerial and technical capabilities to perform all associated duties.
The Program Manager will manage a large multi-faceted program and serves as the company’s authorized interface with the customer and customer agency representatives. Responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards, assigning schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising personnel and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates. Responsible for the overall contract performance. The Program Manager establishes and maintains technical and financial reports in order to show progress. The Program Manager ensures conformity to all contractual obligations, and ensures the development, maintenance, and implementation of Orders, required management plans, and all deliverables. The Program Manager will establish procedures and controls to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with agreed‑to standards and time limits specified in the contract. . Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement through team participation and results. Uses enabling tools in daily work to improve results. Assimilates data and information and directs the organization and fellow leadership team to improve project performance. Data includes metrics and complex parametric data that provides indication of current as well as predicted project state. Ability to analyze projects/ programs, and engineering organizations to architect the PMO infrastructure and team for ease of process, communications, workflow, and metrics rollup
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Management, Engineering, Business, Architecture, or Science is required.
•Minimum 10 years of experience managing security projects of similar size and complexity to the NPSP.
•Certification: Certified Project Manager (e.g. PMP, PgPMP)
•Certification: CPP, PE desired.
•Excellent writing and speaking skills for a variety of audiences.
•Sought out by peers and leaders for communication skills.
•Demonstrates key project communication skill requirements including negotiation, customer presentations, and effective listening.
