The Junior IT Help Desk Technician position requires experience providing IT customer service to DoD end‐users. This position will be maintaining Windows servers/workstations and ensuring compliance with DISA STIGs. Some other tasks include:
Conducting Active Directory maintenance for Exchange 2007 and 2010, using Active Directory to create user accounts, security groups, and group policies.
Loading and configuring MS Windows workstations and servers to comply with DISA’s regulations.
Applying STIGs to the workstations and devices according to DISA’s guidelines.
Servicing use of in-house Audio Visual System, to include setup of presentations from external sources.
Configuring and maintaining commercial in‐house telephone system.
Maintaining SharePoint 2013 to include site creation and data management.
1 - 3 years of experience
Must have Secret with ability to obtain TS/SCI
Knowledge of Windows servers/workstations
Knowledge of Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Secure Technology Implementation Guides (STIGs).
Knowledge of Active Directory.
Knowledge of video teleconference, secure video teleconference, and phone systems.
